Jim and Jennifer break the news of Jim’s cancer diagnosis to family and friends while trying to get used to hospital life.

The dimmed hospital lights and low hum of machines lulled my excited mind into a temporary peace where I could sort through the day’s events. Conveying our story in this format helped me unwind what was happening so I could plan for the next day. The responses to my posts were deeply moving. It felt like I was having a private conversation with each person. Through CaringBridge, loved ones from far and wide kept me company and gave me strength to keep fighting the fight.”
